A Midsummer Night's Dream

This past week our whole school has been involved in the production of the play A Midsummer Night's Dream. A group called Quest Theater came to our school to lead the production. Each class was assigned a a specific scene to preform, and everyone in the class had to participate in that scene. Our grade ten class had to do Scene Nine: Nobody Loves Hermia, in this scene " Oberon realizes Puck's mistake and puts the potion on Demetriu's eyes. Demetrius then awakes and sees Helena . Now both boys are in love with Helena. Hermia is angry. All the lovers fight over who loves who". In the play me and two of my friends Paydon and Cassandra play the role of Hermia. We have to have more than one person playing the same role because there are fifteen kids in my class and only six roles in the play. Paydon, Casandra, and I had a lot of fun playing the role of Hermia, we got to act all angry so we had a good time! This was very laid back because we got to miss a lot of our classes for the play and it was really fun. It was a very good experience and I'm glad we had an opportunity to participate.
