Friendship

Life without best friends for me would be unbearable, I don't know what I would do without the friend's I have. Everyone in life deserves to have at least on best friend and someone you can talk to no matter what. Friend's you have are always there when your down and need a pick up, you can talk to them about anything and true friends will never judge you and will always keep your secrets. My favorite quote is the one about the song. To me this means that when you start to loose your self, and the sight of your true colors a real friend is the one who can show you what you are really like, and how you act, then can snap you back into place.

When you find friends like this then you know they are here to stay! It may be hard to come by real friends like this and will treat you the right way but when you do make sure you keep them as close to your heart as possible.

Staff Shindig

This weekend me and my Friends went to a staff shindig for SLBC. On Friday we all went to a neighbours house and played some games and hung out. The first thing we did was play a picture scavenger hunt. Each team had to climb across a fence when were coveralls were located then had to fill them with snow to create a snow man. Each team had to name there snow man (ours was Sven) then take it with them and get pictures doing numerous tasks. Some of the things the snow man had to do was get married, cook, drive a car, talk on a cell phone, go skiidoing, play hockey, go sky diving, shovel snow, give him the birthday bumps, read a book, do something crazy, picture with an animal, make a snow angle etc. Our team was the one who won because of our creativity in our pictures and movies. Then we skated around for a bit and had a lot of fun some people played hockey but I did not cause i cant play hockey. Then afterwards we went to the pioneer center had an amazing meal, and talked for a while. Over all my Saturday was very fun and long but I had a blast!

SO...this last week has been completely pointless. I have done pretty much nothing all week but go to school work and watch movies. After the holidays I have been soooo tired and haven't been able to catch up on my sleep at all, and I don't think I will be able to this week either because i will be busy studying for finals. Once I get through these next few weeks and are finals then next semester should be easier and i will be able to catch up on some sleep. 

My Christmas Break

So my Christmas break was pretty much the best Christmas ever. Our friends from Calgary came up and we spent Christmas with them it was a blast! We did everything from ski doing, tobogganing, building snow forts to watching movies, playing card and just hanging out. Our friends are pretty much family we get along better than some of our actual family its so great! Its like having and extra mom dad and two brothers!! On Christmas eve we went to the evening service at our church, it was a good reminder of what Christmas is really about and how Jesus was born that night. The rest of my holidays were spent relaxing watching movie, ski doing and hanging out with Friends. One thing is for sure was that my holidays went by Way to quickly.

Christmas Break Is Finally Here!!!

Last Friday was our last day before Christmas holidays!! I would have to say that our last week in school went extremely Sssssssslllllllooooooowwwwwwww!!!! Probably because of the fact that when you want things to go by quickly they go by slow and when you don't care or want them to go by slowly the weeks go by super fast!!! Anyway...back to Friday, one of our old school class mates who went to a different school this year came to visit and it was really fun to get to see her and hang out for the day! Then on Friday night one of my best friends Paydon came over to get ready for our youth groups Christmas banquet. The banquet was really fun and I got to see a lot of old friends. Then two of my other Best Friends Jenny and Nicole came over that night and we exchanged Christmas gifts and ate a lot of food then watched Horton Hears A Who but me and Jen fell a sleep like 15 minutes in so we watched it the next day. When also went ski doing and i almost froze my hand off in minus 40 weather!!! But it was still really FUN!!!

MY AWEOME WEEKEND!!!

So this weekend me and my best friend Paydon decided to go visit my other best friend Cassandra at her house instead of going to the dance!! We thought it would be more fun to go and surprise Cassandra to cheer her up and make her happy with our presence. After school me and Paydon got off the bus with Cassandra's sister and snuck into the house then jumped out in the room where she was staying and scared the crap out of her! It was soooo funny. We brought with up lots of junk food and crazy straws, glow sticks, and a bunch of movies!! We watched Kung Foo Panda, the Sister Hood of the Traveling Pants, and P.S I Love you. We had a blast and laughed so much it was an amazing event!! I also tickled my best friend to death she thought she had beat me up but really all she did was try to pin me down to give me Indian torture but she us very unsuccessful and it did not work!!! But we had to be careful of Cassandra so we wouldn't hurt her broken foot!

My Awesome Weekend

This weekend me and my BFF Cassandra, and my sister went to Edmonton for two reasons. Number one was to go to this WISET science convention for women only it was pretty interesting. Then on Saturday i stayed with my BFF and watched my friends play ringette it was really fun. They lost there first game and one there second game at West Edmonton Mall!! It was awesome!!! It sucked though because my BFF broke her foot during the game at WEM and now she will be out for more than six weeks and I'm really sad :( Now me and my other BFF Paydon will just have to go snowboarding by our selves...but i promised Cassandra that we would come and visit like every weekend so she doesn't get bored. This weekend we have a semi formal dance and since me and my BFF don't have dates we will just go with each other!! WOO This week i hope that me and my BFF can go dress shopping for the semi formal...well that it for now! PEACE

This Weekend

I am soooo excited for this weekend I can Hardly wait for Friday to come! On Friday my sister, my friend and me are going down to Edmonton for this Science For Women convention thing, which sounds like a lot of fun and hopefully i will learn a lot from this experience. Then on Saturday i am going to stay with my friends in Edmonton so watch them play ringette and cheer them on go Cheetahs. Its really exciting because they get to play right in west Edmonton mall, and its going to be really fun to get to watch them! Then we might to some shopping who knows but I'm sure whatever we do it will all be fun :) I was supposed to be going shopping for a semi- formal dress but my mom wont let me get a new one so i will probably have to wear one of my older dresses which sucks but oh well. Speaking of semi- formal next Friday our school is having a dance, I don't know how fun it will be but hopefully it turns out all right everyone has a good time. Most of our other dances last year were pretty fun but i hope this one is even better! This past week has been quite long and extremely boring probably because I have been anticipating the weekend, but its almost here which is great and makes this week bearable.

Bellas Lullaby

So in the movie Twilight they used a lullaby that's I thought wasn't as good as the one they should of used. I think that they should of used the Lullaby: River Flows In You. This lullaby was so perfect and it defiantly fit the role perfectly, the one they used in the movie wasn't as heart warming as it should of been. So here's the Lullaby I thought would have been perfect for the show. This is definatly one of my favorit songs and if I knew how to play the piano then I would really try to learn how to play it but I cant so I guess I will keep dreaming. Click here to see the video.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

This past week our whole school has been involved in the production of the play A Midsummer Night's Dream. A group called Quest Theater came to our school to lead the production. Each class was assigned a a specific scene to preform, and everyone in the class had to participate in that scene. Our grade ten class had to do Scene Nine: Nobody Loves Hermia, in this scene " Oberon realizes Puck's mistake and puts the potion on Demetriu's eyes. Demetrius then awakes and sees Helena . Now both boys are in love with Helena. Hermia is angry. All the lovers fight over who loves who". In the play me and two of my friends Paydon and Cassandra play the role of Hermia. We have to have more than one person playing the same role because there are fifteen kids in my class and only six roles in the play. Paydon, Casandra, and I had a lot of fun playing the role of Hermia, we got to act all angry so we had a good time! This was very laid back because we got to miss a lot of our classes for the play and it was really fun. It was a very good experience and I'm glad we had an opportunity to participate. My weeknd

My weekend went really good and i had a lot of fun. On Friday our volleyball team went to zones we didn't do that great but it was still kinda fun. It was pretty disappointing though because we could have done really well and this wasn't a good way to end off the season. We are done now and I'm really sad because our team was just great and we all got along really well and had a lot of fun. Then on Sunday me and my sister went into town to do some Christmas shopping then we met up with some friends in town and went to go see Twilight. Now i have mixed emotions about Twilight parts of me liked it and the certain people in it like Jasper, Carlisle, and Esme etc. They also left a lot of good stuff out of the movie to and switched things around. One part i wished they would have elaborated on was Bella's Lullaby or used a different lullaby. I also think that Edward used to much emotion and there could have been more chemistry between Bella and Edward. Parts I really like was when they were playing baseball i thought they did a really good job portraying that and when James was Attacking Bella and Edward fought him off. I also loved the part when Edward brought Bella to meet his family and the look on Jasper's face was price less. HSM3 (high school musical 3)

So tomorrow I am hopefully going to go see HSM3 with one of my Best Friends and i am really excited. We have been waiting for weeks now...or at least when it first came out to go see it and I just cant wait. I heard it was the best one out of the three and I'm super excited to go. Another movie I just cant to go see it TWILIGHT!!!! It is coming out on Friday but I will not be able to go on opening day because our girls volleyball Team is going to Rocky Lane for ZONES..and I'm also very excited for this. Hopefully we make it to provincials and we have a good chance if we just play to our ability. This weekend is going to be pretty packed though Zones on Friday and Saturday maybe Sunday...if not then church on Sunday then Twilight :) I'm pretty dang excited!!!

SNOW DAY!

Today was the first snow day of the year and I was loving it! I got to sleep in then pretty much did nothing all day, it was awesome. Sometimes its good to just have a little break from things, relax, and just veg out. The only bad thing about snow days is that there is usually nothing to do so I was pretty bored for most of the day. Usually i would have had homework to get caught up on but I don't know how to do my math so I just ignored it all day. Soooo all day i pretty much watched TV and lazed around. Today was just one of those days when you feel bad because you did nothing all day and feel like you should have accomplished at least one thing, but I'm sure everyone has those days. Tonight we were supposed to have volleyball ball practise but since school was canceled it was obviously cancelled to which was disappointing cause I was looking forward to practise tonight. Well that's about it for today. peace

My Weekend.

This past weekend was long weekend because we got Monday and Tuesday off. On Saturday I went to one of my best friends house, Jenny. I was sooo excited to go because I haven't seen her in a really long time and it was good to just hang out and take a break from school and all the stress that comes with it. I had a lot of fun. Saturday we went to see Max Payne in the theatre, we didn't really know much about it but it turned out to be a really good movie. Then we went to church on Sunday with my other friend Nicole. Sunday night me and Jen went over to Nicol es and watched the Journey to the Center of the Earth in their theatre room. It was just like being in the real thing but smaller it was so cool. Then I went home on Monday it was a very fun weekend over all!

Why?

Why is it that everyone has to act a certain way, dress a certain way, or talk a certain? Why is it that people are afraid to show there true colours? Why do people act one way around certain friends then differently around others? Why must everyone try so hard to fit in? Why do we try to hid what we are good at so people accept us? Why do smart people act dumb? Why do nice people have to ignore you and be rude? Why cant we all just be ourselves in any situation? Why do we plaster ourselves with makeup and hid the true beauty? My favortite song right now is Almost Lover.
This song is about being in love with someone, but having to say goodbye and turn there back on them because you cant be with them.

I like these lines because there meaningful, and they say a lot about being almost in love and having them on your mind all the time.
This song makes me feel a bit sad because she is in pain because she can not be with her lover, but it is still a really good song. I like this song because this feeling is very important to me, and this song is going to be in the movie I really want to see called Twilight.

Random.

So right now I'm just sitting at home with nothing to do so I decided to wright on my blog. This week I have had like no homework which is so awesome, and means I have a lot of time on my hands which is good but now i have nothing to do. This week has just flown by and soon it will be Christmas!! Oh...yesterday it finally snowed!!!!! Woo woo! I was sooo happy. I want to go sledding so bad. Sometime this year my friends are going to try to teach me how to snow board but I think its a lost cause. Last time I was on the ski hill I was skiing (well at least trying to) and wiped out then did a few summer salts down the hill I was luckily OK, but it was quite humiliating. So I wonder how good I will be at snow boarding.
So I finally heard Bella's Lullaby by Carter Burwell and I think it is so perfect for the movie, I'm so excited to go see the movie. If you haven't herd the song yet i advise to go listen to it now, you will not be disappointed. If you have read the books it will be even better!

My Weekend

This weekend was sooo much fun. On Halloween we had a home volleyball tournament at our school. This year for rookie initiation they painted our faces as KISS, then we had to run out in front of the school with our faces painted for the pep rally. It was awesome. Then we played volleyball against a team in front of our whole school and won. That night me and my best friends all went trick-or-treating after the game it was epic. Saturday morning we had to play at 9:00 and at 10:00 we lost but it was still really fun. The finale game for the boys was amazing and probably one of the best volleyball games I have ever watched. My friend and me were score keeping and we weren't allowed to cheer, but it was so hard for us to stop from cheering it was intense.

Twilight Movie!!

Only a few more weeks now till the First Twilight movie comes out on the 21st! I cannot wait for this movie to come out I have been anticipating for this movie for months and soon I will be able to go see it. The Twilight books were amazing and I'm hoping that the movie will be good to. Usually the movies are never as good as the book because you just cant compare with the detail in the books. I hope that this movie will be a success and that its not to far off from the book.

My Adventure in Jasper

This weekend we went to Jasper for a volleyball tournament and had so much fun! Our team placed fourth. It was a lot of fun to hang out with the team and explore the streets of Jasper. There is so many neat gift shops and different restaurants, its really fun to go see all the different tourist shops. We finished volleyball on Saturday and that evening we went to a pizza place and had a pizza party. Then on Sunday before we went home we went for a hike at the Maligne Canyon. It was such a beautiful place and it was a privilege to go and explore in that area.

Romeo and Juliet

In L.A we just finished the play by William Shakespeare called Romeo and Juliet. At the begging of the year i wasn't to excited to be reading and learning about a play written by Shakespeare because the language is so confusing and hard to understand. Once we were finished though i ended up enjoying the play. It was really interesting and once you got some help understanding the language its not that hard to understand. This play was a tragedy meaning the the protagonist did not achieve his/her goal and it end's in one but usually more deaths. 

Jasper!

This weekend our volleyball team is going to Jasper for a tournament. We leave on the 24th and will be there all weekend! I am very excited because last year I went to watch my sister play and it was really fun. That was the first time i had ever been there, and i couldn't believe the amount of wildlife that was there. Literally we would see around thirty elk just roaming the streets of Jasper everyday. One of my other favorite things about Jasper is all the delicious fudge they have there, it is so good!

New Moon

New moon is the second book in the Twilight series. It is also an extremely amazing book! In a nut shell this is what this book is about. Edward Cullen tells Bella that hes leaving because he thinks that's the relationship he has with her will be harmful for Bella because Edward is a vampire, and views himself as a monster. But in reality Edward leaving breaks Bella's heart and leaves her devastated as Edward was her life, her one true love. Edward thought that by leaving, Bella would be better off in a world of her own but he didn't realize the true effect his decision would have upon Bella. Later on near the end of the book Edward comes back to Bella and sees how his wrong decision has effected her, and promises to never leave her again.

My Week.

So far my week has gone by super fast! Mainly because its a short week and we only had four days of school. Which was awesome! Not a whole lot has been going on this week except we had a huge science test today on our biology unit. Now it is postponed till tomorrow because we only got through one period and the fire alarm went off and we had to wit out side for like 15 minuets so our teacher just said we could finish it tomorrow! Which means more study time. This weekend I'm excited because we have a volleyball tournament in Grovedale and its going to be super fun! I cant wait.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for what you have been given how you have been blessed. On thanksgiving weekend our family likes to go out hunting and bond as a family not to mention share an amazing turkey diner. The food over thanksgiving is extremely good and tasteful there is always so much food I feel so fat once thanksgiving is over. Hunting on thanksgiving is pretty much a tradition cause it is something that our family loves to do together. Yesterday my dad, my sister, and me all went out geese hunting and had sooo much fun even though we only shot one goose. Tonight we are having our family Turkey dinner and i plan on eating a lot.

Volleyball

Volleyball is my favorite sport! Its pretty much the only sport in school that I like and play. Last year i played baseketball but i didnt enjoy it as much as volleyball. I have been playing volleyball with our school scince grade seven and have a blast every year I play. Im playing seinor high volleyball and it is quite competative and I love it. We have many oportunities to go different places and its a great way to meet new friends. Volleyball is the only sport will probaly play up intill i graduate. What's you favorite sport to play?

My Weekend!!

This weekend I had a lot of fun. Our volleyball team went to a tournament and we won one game but came really close in others. It was still really fun! Then on Sunday i went to church then went to a friends house and we watched Iron Man and the Kingdom of Heaven! It was awesome. Iron Man was a really good movie if you haven't seen it yet i advise you to go watch it now!!

My blog for today.

Today i went to school. We watched a cool movie in calm but most of the day was pretty boring. I also found out that I did really good on my science test so that made me very happy!! This weekend we have a volleyball tournament in High Prairie so I'm very excited! Hopefully we do well. I found out recently that our friends from Calgary are coming up for Christmas and I am SO excited! Well that's all i have to talk about for now. 

Water Balloon Mania!

Yesterday i attended Water Balloon Mania along with around 600 other people. It is probably one of the biggest water balloon fights in Canada! It was a great way start off my weekend and i had a blast with my friends. Have you ever been in a water balloon fight with over 600 people?

Crazy Inventions

My Day...

Well today i went to the dentist to get a check up then ended leaving the place with a frozen face because i got a cavity filled!! But its all good now...then i went to school and wrote a science test :(  After school today i have volleyball practise and I'm pretty excited but i will probably have to run a lot which sucks, but oh well. Then i will probably go home and do homework. Well that's how my day will end like.

Traveling

Traveling is probably one of my favorite things to do!! I love going to new place and traveling far away to different countries. The only countries i have really been to are Canada, the United States, and Mexico. I have been to the states a lot mostly to Texas, and Florida once. I would love to travel around the world and see the seven wonders of the world. I think that would be an amazing experience and an awesome adventure. That is one of my biggest dreams!! Hopefully one day my dream will come true! But for now i will stick to the small travels. What about you have you ever traveled out side the country??

Winter is Coming

So the summer is over and winter is moving in!! Looking all around you can see signs of change. The leaves are changing colors green to yellow then red to brown. Soon the ground will be covered in crisp white snow. The days are getting smaller and the temperatures are dropping. These changes mean a long cold winter to me and this makes me feel very very sad! The cold temperatures and snowed in road are not the funnest times for me. But at the same time the snow makes me remember Christmas and the fun things like snowmobiling, tobogganing, and skating.

One of my favorite books

Twilight, is defiantly one of my favorite book's ever. It is an unbelievable romance full of action, suspense, and thrill!!! I could read this book over and over and never get board. When i first read this amazing book i was so mesmerized by the content and the heart of the story i couldn't put it down. Twilight is the begging of an epic series, books that follow twilight are...New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. If you haven't read this book then you are defiantly missing out!!
